We are a team of Intimacy Professionals who pioneer in fostering consent-forward practices and elevating narratives around intimacy, sexuality, and gender in creative spaces. We are here to empower creators and performers as they tell powerful stories with respect and authenticity. We champion the de-tabooing of intimacy, nudity, sex, sexuality and gender spectrum through film and stage.

Our approach prioritizes consent, courage, and sensitivity, while remaining deeply committed to representation, aesthetics, and realism in artistic narratives. Trailblazer in Intimacy Direction

As one of India’s first certified Intimacy Directors, Neha's dedication to storytelling, particularly around intimacy, gender, and sexuality, shines through in their work. Their journey, spanning the globe from Prague to New York, culminated in a unique approach to Intimacy Direction – deeply empathetic, trauma-informed, and focused on the actor's experience. Certified by the prestigious Intimacy Directors & Coordinators, New York, Neha has not only brought the discipline of intimacy direction to India but also crafted a unique workshop toolkit, laying the groundwork before intimacy direction became an acknowledged role on set.

Intimacy Direction, Coordination, and Coaching for Screen and Stage

We understand the delicate dance between the emotional and physical aspects of intimacy in performance. Our team leads the industry in merging the action graph with the emotional graph in scenes of intimacy. We prioritize a communicative, collaborative, and consent-forward process, ensuring that all parties feel heard, respected, and creatively fulfilled.

We collaborate closely with writers and production teams to ensure that narratives around intimacy are portrayed with sensitivity, accuracy, and realism, enriching the storytelling process with depth and respect. We offer comprehensive script consulting services for projects exploring themes of intimacy, sexuality, and gender:

Workshops

Our workshops are designed with a deep understanding of India’s diverse cultural landscape. This means not only navigating the complexities of consent and agency but doing so in a way that honors the traditions, values, and sensibilities inherent to Indian storytelling.

We offer a range of workshops designed to empower individuals and unlock artistic potential:

On Set Trainings

We provide expert consulting services for on-set processes, ensuring narratives involving themes of intimacy, sexuality, and gender are approached with the utmost care, respect, and authenticity. Each training is designed specifically for the project keeping in mind the storytelling nuances.

Acting Intimacy (7 days)

A transformative 7-day module that empowers actors to connect with their bodies, assert their agency, and clearly define their boundaries and articulate consent. This module is meant for actors to find confidence in expressing themselves in scenes and contexts that require high vulnerability both physically and emotionally. This workshop culminates in a scene work presentation, showcasing the actors' journey towards owning their space.

Own Your Body (1 day)

In this one-day module, participants engage with their vagus nerve through breath and movement, accessing a deeper connection with their body’s agency. It’s an invitation to everyone, actor or not, to explore and understand the power of their physical presence. This introductory workshop provides tools for anyone to connect with their body and to develop a deeper understanding of their body’s vocabulary, boundaries, and personal agency.

Intimacy for Directors

This workshop equips directors with the skills to articulate intimate scenes from visual, performance, and gaze perspectives. It fosters an understanding of Intimacy Direction and collaboration with actors.

Movement Workshops

Our diverse lineup includes Stick work, Kalaripayattu, Capoeira, and workshops on contact improvisation and fluid movement, empowering actors with a range of physical storytelling tools.

Educational Institute Trainings

We design bespoke training modules for educational institutions, focusing on performance, communication, intimacy, and consent-based practices. These sessions are crafted to meet the specific needs of each institute, ensuring relevance and impact.

"I think the Brave Spaces workshop was the first workshop I have attended as an actor in Mumbai. I have been acting for more than a decade now, but this workshop was a refreshing change. One of the most unique things for me was the demand to dive deeper into the 'self'; to learn more about who I am. The other really important thing I took from this workshop was the importance of boundaries and the importance of setting them for the protection of yourself'. One of my first gigs in Mumbai was actually a mildly intimate scene and I certainly wish now that there was an intimacy director present on set for it. Back then I did not even know what intimacy direction was, but now I can say for certain how important their role is on a set. And even if one is not present, at least through this workshop I learnt the tools to navigate myself through one in a safer and more secure manner.
